Lamont M. Hills
Lamont Hills is one of the co-founders of Hills Daniels & Associates and a proud member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum – one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. A distinction that fewer than 1% of U.S. attorneys bear. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements—placing him among the elite trial lawyers nationwide.
Lamont was Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Lamont’s early years shaped his grit, resilience, and passion for service. He went on to return to his Louisiana roots and graduate with honors from The Southern University Law Center, launching a legal career rooted in both intellect and integrity. Lamont’s professional journey includes prestigious judicial clerkships with the Honorable Sandra Cabrina Jenkins at the 4th Circuit Court of Appeal and the Honorable John Michael Guidry at the 1st Circuit Court of Appeal. These formative experiences offered him a behind-the-scenes look at the judicial process and deepened his appreciation for strategic legal thinking.
Early in his career, Lamont also represented and defended major insurance and retail companies, gaining knowledge of the defense tactics used to minimize injury claims. That experience now serves as a strategic advantage helping him represent injury victims, allowing him to anticipate the opposition’s moves and outmaneuver them with precision to maximize his clients cases.
Outside the courtroom, Lamont is deeply involved in the New Orleans community. He hosts events that give back to the city and surrounding areas and volunteers his time with impactful organizations like Son of a Saint. He is also a sought-after speaker, frequently invited to share his story and insight with youth, professionals, and community groups.
In his downtime, Lamont likes to watch football, hit the gym, and try new restaurants with his friends and family. Whether in the courtroom or the community, Lamont is driven by one mission: to enrich the lives of anyone he helps.
