Jywana Moore
Jywana Moore is an Associate Attorney at Hills Daniels and Associates licensed to practice in the state of Alabama. Jywana was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She decided to venture out and from there she embarked on her undergraduate career at Dillard University where she obtained a bachelor’s in criminal justice in the year 2021.
Soon after graduating, she began studying for her Juris Doctor at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Jywana graduated from law school in May of 2024. As a first-year law student, Jywana began interning with Hills Daniels and Associates in December of 2021. Once she graduated from law school she was offered the position to be an associate attorney at the firm.
Jywana has a focus in personal injury with a passion for prison abuse cases. Over the years she has assisted the firm on cases of a wide variety including eighteen wheeler collisions, dog bites, slip and falls, and other premise liability cases. Jywana also plans to continue to be an advocate for minors through the study of adverse childhood experiences. While in her undergraduate studies and law school studies, Jywana made it her mission to take classes that focused on psychological aspects of injuries.
The aspiration to be an attorney has followed Jywana since the third grade. She was constantly told that she could not stick up for everybody and that some people had to fight their own battles. This notion was not acceptable for Jywana so from then on everything Jywana did academically was in furtherance of becoming a professional advocate. The opportunity to advocate for clients who have been injured physically and
mentally fuels Jywana each and every day.
When Jywana is not in the office, she enjoys caring for her miniature schnauzer, Monty, doing her nails, binge watching tv shows, and trying new restaurants. Jywana is a proud daughter, sister, aunt, and fur mom. Although Jywana is a “gen z” attorney, she has received the mentorship and training from the partners of the firm who ensured she would be well equipped to be a zealous advocate for any client she encounters.
